How often do you weigh yourself?

My first week on WW I stayed away from the scale. I wanted to be surprised at my first weigh in. This being my second week, I hop on the scale every morning... sometimes at night too

Wk 3, today is weigh in (ugh)
and I never weighed myself in between.

I dont own a scale
and if I was somewhere and a scale was there ( moms or inlaws) I walk away!

I know I prob shouldn't do it.. but it's like I hop on to see if there's a change so i know if I'm doing everything correctly..lol

my scale shows like 3 lbs less than the scale at ww.. I swear theirs is wrong..lol

Every morning, since I was 18.

almost never.
I find it depressing because I work so hard & barely ever lose any weight.
I go by how my clothes fit instead to determine my progress.

Several times a week....some weeks everyday.

Everyday. Sometimes I will walk away and get back on just to see if it was wrong or came down a few....lol IT's sad, the # on the scale determines my day. If it's down, it's a great day, if it's up, I know to watch.

I weigh myself at least once a day, but it only "counts" (aka put it in my weight chart) on Wednesday mornings.

Once a week. I made my weigh-in day Mondays so it gives me a little motivation to be good over the weekend.

Usually twice a week and that's it. And I try to do it first thing in the morning before I've had anything to eat or drink.

Once, maybe twice a week. Anything more than that isn't very accurate..your weight fluctuates a lot due to gain/loss of water weight, etc.

Maybe 2-3X a year.

I don't own a scale so I will use the one at my IL's when I remember.

The true test is my clothes. If they are snug...time to do something. If they are loose, keep at it.

There are soooo many variables to that number on the scale. 99% of the time, when the number goes up from one day to the next, you didn't gain a pound or two of fat in 24 hours. It could be so many things: water retention, getting your period, too much salt, anything.

Sorry, it's just that if I owned a scale, it would ultimately own me.

Thank God I dont have one.. I would weigh myself everyday as I did when I was much younger!

I used to weigh myself 3x a day but now besides my WW weigh in I try to limit to 1 or 2 other times during the week.

Not too often (once or twice a month, maybe) and we only own a scale because DH wanted one. Before I moved in with DH I never owned a scale.

Although I do know that weight can fluctuate a few pounds in a day. I know that by the of the day I have "gained" 2-3 pounds that I guess metabolize off during sleep.

i get one 1x a week- friday mornings. sometimes i am tempted and get on on a wed or thursday.
