how often do you ask
yourself "what the heck were the previous home owners thinking???"
LOL DH and I ripped up this overgrown garden area in the back yard yesterday and OMG.....what a disaster!
they had this odd shaped garden patch that the garden was growing half in and half out, completely over grown with some strange weed with monster roots and it was part flowers, part ground cover type plants and part herbs
this happens several times on every project

oh big time, when we had the walls opened, when we go outside and found pull tab beers (hello 1979) bags of dirt but plants have grown through them or trees have seeded in them. Or the fact people never painted the ceiling in the house - like i know its hard to paint but not that hard.

probably on a daily bases. have you seen my before/during pics. 
The things we have found. You would just think that people like their houses and want to take care of them, but no, I guess not everyone does.

We probably say that every other day, we have owned the house a year now so a lot of it has been changed, but when we first moved in it was like 5 times a day.

LMAO DH callsthe previous owner a shoe maker because the shelves in the garage where all crooked, they were nothing DH would ever use but we just couldnt understand how this man used them

We had paint colors that you wouldn't believe, tiles that were GORILLA GLUED to the floor, windows and doors that are random sizes... OMG.
