How much would you pay babysitter?
I'm really not sure what the going rates are these days and usually family watches the kids. However we wanted to go out at a time family wasn't here so...
3 hours
2 children ages 2 and 4 (well behaved)
Dinner provided for my kids and sitter... Pizza brought in before we went out.
No other duties other than get them into pjs. We would be back before bedtime.
Sitter is very experienced (my daycare co worker)
How much would you say?

We pay outs about $15/hr. It's a lot and at the top but that's what they get around me.

I pay 13/hr. Most sitters I interviewed have asked for 10-12.

But is what you pay per hour ($13 in your case) for all children included or $13 per hour per child??
When I babysat for multiple kids I still only got 5-8 an hour. I know that's not acceptable unless it's per child now.
I guess we paid too much. But it was only 24 hrs notice and our wedding anniversary so they did us a huge favor. Next time I'll drop the pay a little.

12-15' an hour for two. Probably not less than $20 a night.

That's $15 is for 2 kids. One is usually sleeping by the time she gets here. i would not pay per child. It's usually a flat rate. When I babysat I never got paid per kid

I have two kids - age 4 and 6, and I pay the babysitter between 12 - 15 an hour.
eta - for both kids, not PER kid. (which would be 24 - 30 per hour)

We pay $12/hr for two kids.
If it coincides with dinnertime I will sometimes provide dinner for the sitter.
