How much time do you spend on TTC?
Just curious... with the LIF board, posting/temping/reading, etc..
About how much of your day do you spend on thinking about TTC and getting pregnant?
When Im super busy, it's easy to let it not creep into my mind but when I have down time, it's all I think about!
Being anxious about taking a HPT, wondering if I Od "well" lol, wondering if his guys were in good shape, wondering if they met up, etc..
When we got pg the first time (even though it ended shortly), it wasn't even a thought in my head.. maybe like 1X during the 2ww I was like, maybe it worked... and that WAS IT !
I want that mentality back!!

From cd1 til about cd12, I slightly think about it. Mostly because I pop on the board at work (thank goodness it isn't blocked). Then from that point everuthing jumps up to about 90%- board, opk, when do we BD, did I O, when can I test...

WAY TOO MUCH TIME  wish I didn't care as much as I do, but I really think about it a lot.
Usually It's not as bad at the beginning of my cycle. When I get my Smiley I get a little crazed, then at a few DPO I can't get it out of my head at all!

i cant really compare myself to most people...
we got pregnant on our first month trying... then it ended in an ectopic... so for the last 2 and a half months i couldnt do anything... so other than replying to posts here and having a few random convos with people i havent thought about it much...
i think the most i think about it is the 2nd week in the 2ww.... and its pretty much 24/7 at that point!

i'm not going to be TTC til late june or early july...
but i'm already temping and charting.
we want to do the shettles method to try for a boy so its worth it to me to put the work in.
its just 15 seconds in the morning...

honestly i spent over a year OBSESSING. like, it was all i thought about! now that so much time has passed without a HEALTHY pregnancy i realize how much it's truly out of my control and i've let a lot of it go. i tell myself "it is what it is". but then again, i'm not TTC right now so it's easy for me to say that....check back with me in a month or so and i'll probably be obsessing again

Same here, after 15 months it's become such a huge part of my day to dy life. I honestly can't even picture life beyond TTC. I used to daydream about what it would be like to be pregnant and then labor and bringing a baby home. I don't anymore, all I can really see now is TTC and infertility.

Not much at all. I use OPK and we BD.
I hope it happens, but both DH and I decided we would not get consumed by it. It just wasnt worth it.
So my answer is not too much.

With DD, none-I got pregnant first shot so I didn't really have time to get to know this board.
With DS-I spent 9 months on this board.
This time, I'm spending more time thinking about it that I did with DD but I'm not really posting about it much, and I'm not searching up and down the internet as I did with DS.

i say that bc i'm the type of person that gets obsessed with one thing and lets everything else in life fall to the wayside. i'm really trying not to let that happen here.

I was on here chatting up way before we were ready to TTC.. so I would just ask silly q's and reply to posts. Right now, I think I spend way too much time on LIF, but I hope for a BFP before TTC becomes an obessesion..
