How much for bridesmaid dress? ADDED additional questions
for my wedding: ~$100
i've only been in one wedding (poor me): also ~ $100 (they were made to order)... this was a lifetime ago

thanks everyone the bride has agreed to pay for portion of the dress because she does not want to switch out.
I will say if we weren't shelling out over $500 (each) for the bridal shower, I would have probably shut my mouth and paid for all of the dress (though I would have definitely rolled my eyes and bitched to my friend that it was so expensive   )
also there is no way I would ever pay almost $500 for a dress I would excuse my self from the wedding!
My wedding dress was $550. There's no way I'd pay that for a bm dress

i wouldn't pay more than $300 for a bridesmaid dress before alterations or just the dress. Add in shoes and alterations i wouldn't pay more than $500
