How much does your 7-8 month old weigh?
Andrew is only 15 pds and I think this is really really small for his age.

DS just had a doctor's appointment. At 7 1/2 months he weighs 19lbs 1oz 29.5 inches.

At his December 30th appointment DS weighed 16lbs...
Now he's having eating issues so we'll see what happens at the next appointment which is on Feb. 3rd...

At 6 months, he was 17lbs 6 oz, but I think he's at least 19 lbs now.

Mikey is probably only about 16 pounds. He's in the 15th percentile.

Mikey is probably only about 16 pounds. He's in the 15th percentile.

We get the opposite. "Wow, he's so big!" And I hope he isn't always chubby. I think we always worry about something!

My son is probably about 20 lbs. He's so big with rolly polly legs. Neither of my other kids had the jelly roll legs and chubby feet. In fact, my DD is 2 1/2 and weighs about 24 or 25 lbs.

We just had her 8 month well visit and Grace is:
16.5 lbs., 27 inches.
45% for weight and 65% for height.

At Lauren's 6 month visit (she is now 8 months), she was 18 lbs. 9 oz. 95%.
We go for her 8 month visit at the end of this month! I am sure she is over 20 lbs without a doubt!

Hayden was 18 lbs, 8 ounces and 28 1/2 inches at 6 months, he's probably close to 20 pounds now.

At 7 months DS was 20.5lbs and 28.5 inches. Now at 9 months he is close to probably 25lbs and 30inchs. People also tell me how big he is but it is really in his face and length I think. He isnt chubby at all, actually kinda slender, just looks like he is storing food in the winter in his cheeks . Dont worry all kids grow at different rates. I think it was my dad my grandmother said that didnt want to eat and he is 6'3 and slender and always was.

I always have the same thing. People ask how old she is and then when I tell them they're surprised at how old she is and they say wow she's so small. Ellie is 7 mos. At her visit on 1/4/07 she was 16 lbs 13 oz and 25 1/4 inches. My Dr. is not concerned and they don't discuss percentiles.

Marron was 15.5lbs at in Nov. We go this week coming up and I suspect she is now about 17-18lbs (8.5 months).

Matteo was 19lbs. 12oz. at his 8 month checkup. He was more, but got that nasty stomach bug going around and lost some weight. But he's also very tall so he's lanky! He's just about 30"

hannah was 12 lbs 6 oz on her 6 month well visit. keep in mind that she was 1 month early. she barely hits the 5th percentile. i am really hoping she gains more at her next visit. she has to go this friday for a weight check.
