How much does IVF cost on LI?

I go to East Coast Fertility and haven't seen the person in charge of the billing. I actually posted below about deciding if we even want to go to the next step - IVF. I'm just curious for the girls that did this on LI, how much does it cost if your insurance doesn't pay for it (and no grants).
Also does age affect getting a grant?
Obviously the last word would be the clinic, but I'm just getting ahead of myself. It stinks to have to deplete all of savings for this, but I guess it's worth it in the end.

My second visit to East Coast I had to ante up 12K on the spot. We hadn't even DONE anything yet.

I changed clinics - and wound up paying much much less.

I did NOT have a good experience with EC, sorry.

Maryann from EC called me the day b/f my appt. to go over what my insurance covered and what i would have to cover. I think she's @ the patchogue office. Give her a call, God knows I think I have spoken to her more than my own family in the last week!
