Holy Cr*p am I cheap. We gave $30 to the garbageman and nothing to the revolving mail people.

dh and i are discussing this, what do we do
pretty sure its different garbage men the two days its collected
plus someone different for recylables
who gets the tip?? all of them, but a smaller amount,, i cant stalk all these people

we did not tip our garbage men bc they really are picky about what they take, one time we had to call the supervisor to pick our garbage up.
we did tip our mailman, i stuck a $20 dunkin donuts giftcard in an envelope for him to take from our mailbox.

we give our mailman a bottle of wine each year and he is so appreciative. He lives in town, so we know him a bit.

I don't like to tip unless its service that goes above and beyond.
Nothing to the trash guys - they're rude and mean to my elderly neighbors .
I gave our mailman $20 because he's very kind and considerate. Can't even count the numbers of.trips to the post office he has saved me from. Really just a great guy.
