how much did you gain by 16 weeks?
Is it true that you gain a lb a week from now on and sometimes even more towards the end??

At 16 weeks, I think I had gained 8 lbs, but mostly because all I could eat up until then was carbs because I was so sick. I gained 6 more from then until my 20 wk appt! I don't think it's abnormal to average a pound a week for the whole pregnancy. That would make it about 40 lbs you'd gain total. I'm up 22 at 27 weeks and I feel horrible about myself! I keep making sure to eat healty because I don't want to gain a million pounds!

In my own situation, I gained 12lbs by week 16 (I'm at 30 now).
However, I don't think that weight gain is predictable for anyone during pregnancy. They say that the normal weight gain is 25-35lbs full term (which would mean less than 1lb a week), but I've heard of many women more AND less than that norm, and they were considered healthy regardless. So in other words, you'll gain what is right for you.

14 weeks and under the weight I was prior to getting prego.. I have been gaining some weight , which is good.
I was very sick the first trimester...lets see how much I gain 2nd tri..

I think I was up about 15lbs.
I think about 30 weeks or a little more - it is a lb a week

at 16 weeks I had gained maybe 6 or 8 lbs.
That has changed drastically now that I am at 28 weeks....it has been almost a lb a week.
