how much alone time does your dh spend with dc?
hubby said he was jealous of me bfing and holding ds so much that he wanted alone time with ds! LOL~ it's sweet but all hubby does is pick up ds and hold him so that for the past few weeks ds has become more whiney and wants to be held all the time. ds is almost 14mo. (wow time flies!) i don't want to deprive dh of his "alone" time though.... but feeling like in a dilemma now.... how does your dh interact with dc?

DH does bath time every night with DD and has Fridays all day with her while I am at work.

DH does 15 minutes a day while I exercise. In addition, 1.5 hours with DD when I go to Gymboree with DS.
Finally, there are data when I'm working late. Maybe on average once a week, he gets an hour or two all to himself.

A lot. He watches them Mon and Wed am and all day Th and Fr. He does things differently but I'm trying to teach him their routine.

A lot. He watches DD when he's off and I'm working, and also when I have errands to run etc.
She's 5-months-old so he definitely loves to hold her a lot, but he also plays with her a lot. Mostly on the activity mat or with her in the exersaucer or with a toy while she's on his lap.

DS is 18m. DH is alone with him at night if I go to the gym or run errands alone, same for saturday and sunday. There are times I go out with friends and they are alone. They get a good amount of time alone.

I work late on Mondays and Tuesdays. DH works all day and then comes home to do dinner, homework, bath and bed. He also works from home on Thursdays.

DS just turned 1 and DH spends lots of alone time with him and always has. He picks him up a few evenings a week before i get home. Then on weekends i have ME time to get hair or nails done or just meet the girls.
But he takes him out on walks and plays with him in the park. It is easier at this age though as DS doesnt want to be held.

DS is 2.5 years old... I'm a SAHM, so i'm with him all day. Usually twice a week I'll leave and DH has alone time with him. I'll leave after dinner and meet a friend for coffee for a couple hours, or go out shopping by myself or to do errands that are easier to do wihtout DS. So i would say DH gets maybe 3-4 hours of alone time with DS every week. he does things a little bit differently than I do.. but DS survives, so I can't complain HAHA DH and I make sure to talk a lot about DS routine so we're on the same page with everything

A whole lot.. but just fyi 14m is about the time they get whiny anyway.. they are trying to express themselves. I have never been one to worry about holding her all the time.. especially now at 4 when its RARE that she'll let me. Enjoy it!
Hubby sees her more than me as I work two jobs.

DH plays with her as soon as he gets home from work. He gives her a bath and we switch on and off with putting her to bed. If I'm out and he's with her, he'll take her to the park or shopping.

Dh spends as much alone time as possible with dd. he takes her out after work, brings her to dance on the weekend. He will just come home and bring her to the park or to go get ice cream. He cherishes alone time and asks me if it ok!! Lol

Not much, but that's not really his doing. He works a lot, so that's one issue. And when I do stuff on my own, like get my nails done, I try to do it when DD is napping because I still have that FTWM guilt.

DH spends as much time as I do. Right now DS is in a mommy stage since we spent 24 hrs a day for 5 days together in FL without daddy. But I am enjoying it since he was always a daddy's boy.

He spends about 1.5 hours alone with DD because he picks her up on the weekdays. It depends on the weekends. He took 2 months off to take care of her when she was 2 months old and took her to his parents house in PA for 3 days when she was 4 months old.

DH probably spends about 7 hours alone each week with her on average. We both work a couple jobs and I go to school so we both have time alone with her at night and on weekends.
