How many weeks will you be when you have your shower?
Just curious - I don't know exactly when my shower is but from hints that I've been given I think I will be at least 36 weeks if not further along... I definitely grateful that my family is throwing one for us but I guess I'm just afraid of how I'll feel at that point. 
Is this something that I should be worrying about? There's nothing I can do at this point - everything is booked. I guess I'm just looking for reassurance...

I will be 32 weeks at mine and I sure hope Im up for it  Ive read here a lot of girls who have had showers late in pregnancy and did alright.

I just had mine saturday...I was 35w5d...might as well say that I was 36 weeks...
I enjoyed it completely and loved it!!
It was, however, EXHAUSTING to open the presents, and then I am anal retentive so i stayed up til 11 organizing and putting stuff away that same night...so I really overdid it and exhausted myself...
you don't have to do that!! lol
you will enjoy your shower, but just expect to be tired after!

I'll be 35 weeks also. When I first heard that I was really surprised, but it worked out best for a number of reasons. I'm hoping I'll be too excited to feel all that uncomfortable...that night and the next day may be another story!

I'll be 34 weeks. And it's definitely possible that your family is trying to throw you off of the real shower date to surprise you. But even if that's not the case, I think 36 weeks will be ok.

30 weeks. I have to travel OOS so, I wanted to do it earlier but, I'm having a smaller one in the state that I live and Ill be 37 weeks then.

Normally I would agree with you but at dinner last night my dad spilled the beans and basically blurted out that it's going to be in April. 
and the first weekend is Easter so it obviously isn't that weekend...

I'm 36w today and my shower is tomorrow! 
I feel VERY pregnant, but also good enough to have nearly 50 women over my house for the shower that my mom and grandma are throwing me. I'm sooo excited!

I'll be just about 30 weeks, which is a little early but due to some weddings, communions etc it's what worked out best.

The planning is in process but if it's the date I want/think is going to happen, I'll be a bit past 33 weeks.
I didn't want to wait later than that because my SIL might give birth early and I wanted her there.

I was 28 weeks and ended up missing it cause I landed myself in the hospital for 4 days. If I had had mine at 36 weeks or later I either would have been miserable or missed it. I delivered at 37 weeks and was so big and uncomfortable at 36 weeks I would have wanted to skip it.
Is there anyway you can have it closer to the 32 week mark.

most likely around 36 weeks. Two of my cousins are pregnant and one is due March (shower in Feb) the other in June (not sure when shower will be, May i guess?) and I'm due in August so I have to make sure my shower is in July at least to give the family a break!
