How many vacuums do you own?
Over the weekend, I was just thinking about vacuums (I have no idea why... sometimes my mind takes weird sidetrips, but I get interesting stories about where it's been...  )
I have two shop-vacs, a dustbuster, a hand-held rug shampooer, a full size steam cleaner, and an upright vacuum. After the house gets done, we're going to get another upright to leave downstairs, and the old one will stay upstairs.
That makes for 6 now, and 7 next year! 
(BTW, there's no OTHER, because I'm not counting partial numbers, and you can't have negative vacuums....  )
(It's not a HOME question, since it's just trivia, I'm not asking about which is better, what works on hardwood floors, etc.)

I voted 1 but then realized we have a shop vac, dust buster, and regular upright. So we actually have 3.

Ahhhh!! you just reminded me that I also have a 12volt vacuum that I keep in the car!  So, that's 7 now, and probably 8 next year....
I'm not counting the leaf blower/vac since I think DW would get a little annoyed if I ran the gas blower/vac in the house....

I moved once and left my vacuum with my brother and ended up getting a new one, then I moved back and left my old one so now I have 2!

We just bought another vacuum this weekend 
We have two uprights (one has now been assigned to the basement), and a spot cleaner small one and a shampoo vac.

we had one dinky little one but we just bought a dyson yesterday - i actually can't wait to use it! DH also has a shop vac but it's not at our apartment. so, does that count as three?
we also have a dustbuster so that would make 4...

Since you count the dustbuster as 1, then I have 3.
1 regular
1 stick vac
1 dustbuster
We need to get a shopvac, and I wanted a smaller upright, but DH said no. He was right though, I didn't really need it.

lets see..
1 upright, but maybe can be counted as 2 because it can also turn into a canister vac
1 Roomba which i love for keeping up with the dog hair day to day
1 dustbuster
1 handheld Bissel steam cleaner
1 shop vac

Quite a few, if you count the various size shop vacs DH has. Plus our Dyson, handheld stick vac and dustbuster.
