How many times have you....??
How many times have you taken tylenol throughout your pregnancy, if any. I am trying to stay away from it because in the very beginning I took it for like 3 days straight due to a severe back ache.
Well now my sciatica is back worse than ever and I cant take it anymore. Just wondering how many times you girls have taken it?

This sounds bad, but sometimes I take it daily...I had terrible cramping and headaches for a while, my doc said no worries at all where tylenol was concerned. He said it was advil and aspirin to stay clear of. Hope this helps!!

I took a tylenol extra strength tablet for this really bad headache I had once and that's it.
I did take advils but it was during my first trimester where I didn't even know I was pregnant. But I haven't touched advil at all since then.

I took it because I used to get bad headaches. I was allowed to take Tylenol Sinus because the regular Tylenol was not helping me at all.

I am only 11 weeks, but I have taken regular strength tylenol several times because I have been getting daily major headaches (bordering on migraines). I spoke to my Dr about it and he said it was fine to take the regular strength tylenol.

I took it many times when I was pregnant-- twice I got sick and had a temperature I needed to get down. And sometimes I'd have a headache or ligament pain. The OB had no problems with me taking it.

I've taken as needed enough that I wouldn't even be able to count. They told me it was safe and it's the only thing we can take so I'm using it. Silly enough, for the sciatica my MIL sent me a miniature rubber tire 1/2 inflated with a slip cover that I used at my desk while I work or sit in an unforgiving chair and it helped alleviate the pain quite a bit. Hope that helps b/c I know it hurts like hell.

i had really bad headaches between 3 and 4 months, i was taking 3 tylenol a day. i hated doing it, but i just couldn't bare it. since then, headaches have ended and i have not taken anything. i'm 7 months

i have had some really bad migranes and I have taken it a few times a week now. I try and hold off as long as possible but they get unbearable.

I have never been big on taking any kind of medication prescription or OTC but if I need it I never worry about tylenol.

Too many times to count! I got headaches a lot early on, so I would take Xtra Strength Tylenol. I wish I could take Advil because that's the only thing that works for me, but I didn't hesitate to take Tylenol when I felt I needed to.

Same for me! I can't wait until I can take Advil again. I also actually took Tylenol with codeine because the headaches got so bad. Codeine is category B as long as you don't take it too much. The codeine didn't really help my headaches because I waited too long to take it.
Keep i mind ladies -- it is much easier to control or manage pain if you take something early, rather than waiting for the pain to become unbearable and then take something.

Id say about the same. I would take 1 at a time. I have a very bad back and was having migraines in the 2nd trimester - I had to take something because the times I didnt take anything, I ended up vomiting.

I wouldnt worry - my dr said taking tylenol is fine, no worries. I have suffered with bad migraine headaches for years and was on a perscription medicine for them. Now that I a prego the only thing I can take is the tylenol - I usually wind up taking it once a week at least. If I dont, I wind up vomitting and being in excruciating pain.
