How many rooms are in your house?

our house is over 1800 sq ft, but we only have 5 rooms (2 br) a living room, a den, and a large eat-in kitchen on the ground floor.

we also have 2 bathrooms and a laundry room but I don't really count those. I am talking I guess true "living" space.

when I show people my house, it's a pretty short tour.

My house is about 2000 sq including my basement. I have 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, den, living room dining room, eat in kitchen and finished basement

We are adding, any day now, a family room off the kitchen to act as more of a great room space.

I think our home is around 1800 sq ft:
3 bedrooms (2 bathrooms: one in master bedroom - shower only)
Eat In Kitchen (small)
Family room (30' x 15')
Dining Room (18' x 15')


Our Family Room was the old Living Room and Dining Room and our Dining Room was the old family room.

upstairs: living room, kitchen, eating area, 2 full baths and 3 bedrooms and walk up attic

Main floor: foyer, formal dining room, former living room with bar, library, butler's pantry, walk in food pantry, kitchen, eating area, bar, great room, galley, powder room, laundry room, master bedroom, master bathroom, off the kitchen is the covered outdoor living room area, bar area, outdoor built in fire pit sitting area, dining area, children's play area, inground pool, hot tub, bbq area, suntanning deck, ping pong and changing station

then the back stairs leads you to the second floor where there was another master bedroom, master bathroom, theatre, game room, 3 other bedrooms, another full bathroom, toy/play room..

Then walk up to attic..

3BD + bonus room(it has a closet so I guess it could be counted as a BD but I use oit for my office and a guest room)

LR, Kitchen, DR, Family room. We also have a sun porch but it is not heated or cooled

2000 sqft. Its the standard 8-4-2.5 colonial configuration.

Funny you talk about the tour length bc I always complain ours is short as well. We only have 1300 sq ft. Downstairs is a kitchen, dr, lr, and 1/2 bath. All of which is very open so you can stand in one spot and see all of it lol. Upstairs is 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. 2 of the bedrooms are mirror images of 1 another so that's often quick as well.

Total of 8 rooms for 1300 sq ft

My house is 2400 square feet.

Upstairs we have 3brs, 2ba and a big closet for our office.

Downstairs we have an open floor plan of a den/living room, eating area and kitchen. We also have a full bath.

So - including bathrooms I'd say 8 or 9???

9 rooms plus 3 full baths, closets, outdoor "living space", laundry room and an attic. 2030 sq feet here. Plan to put a second level onto our ranch.
