How many plan to visit work during maternity leave?
Everyone at my job keeps asking me to bring in DD during my maternity leave because they want to meet her, but I don't think I will.
Is anyone planning to visit work during their leave with their LO?

How many plan to visit work during maternity leave?
I'm thinking about it but not 100% sure-everyone in my office has done that...like a week or 2 before the return they come in with the baby. But i'll play it by ear. Due in January so if we have bad weather I'm not trekking the baby into the city. But if we get some nice warm days towards the end I'll come in and probably stop by DH's job too.

no thanks! if I am close enough with people, they can come visit me. I am not bringing my baby to an office so people I barely talk to can try and pass my kid around like a football!

If they really want to see the baby...plan a get together for lunch on the weekend or something.
There is no need to go into work so that they can see the baby

I will. I visiited with my first and I will with this one as well. Everyone wants to meet him/her, I get to see how everything is going in my absence, chat with my boss and co-workers, get the latest scoop on things and we usually do lunch.

I will HAVE to go in to work at least 3 times on my leave. Stinks but they are paying me for ML. It's only for a few hours.

I did! I've worked here for 10 years. It wasn't even a question for me.
But I live very close by. If I worked in manhattan i'm sure i'd feel differently.

I will send pics and they can enjoy that. I don't know about visiting with the baby, though. Seems like a lot of effort when I have a newborn, when I'm still healing and bfing, etc.

I know a lot of people at work do, but I work at a doctors office for kids, I really don't want my LO getting sick, so I think I'll stick to pictures when i come back from maternity leave

Probably not b/c at any given shift there are only 5 coworkers there at most (usually less). We only have a staff of about 25 anyway. I'll just pin a pic to the cork board, lol. That's what I get for working at a funeral home
