How many people do you buy holiday gifts for?
I was just adding it up in my head. we have about 20 people to shop for, but I think in reality it's closer to 25  
I haven't even started shopping yet and I am already stressing!!! why is it not acceptable to just write everyone a check?  so much easier!
eta: scratch the # above. I forgot about DH's boss and co-workers

hmmm... DH of course, my 3 brothers (but they only get gift cards) and my 2 nephews.. my sister and I split our mother and everyone else, we do a secret santa and have a max of $100 on them..

I have roughly 20 entries on my list and some are actually couples/families. I also have my class of 28 children and some people at school.

I have to start making a list. I now have 5 people I work for. I used to have 2. Ironic. I won't be getting a raise but I work for more people doing more work and have to spend more on gifts.
Family wise just mom, dad, my brother, his mom dad and 2 nephews on each side.

my parents, my ILs, and 2 grab bag gifts (our families do that for the hanukkah party--so everyone gets 1 gift)

DH and have not bought each other x-mas gifts last year since we were buying a house- this year, baby is coming so no gifts again.
We buy for my parents and brother and his gf.
We buy for his parents and grandmother, but since his family is so big, last year the siblings and cousins got together to do a secret santa so we only buy 1 gift for another person.
I also buy small gifts for my BF and her 1 yr old son. And I usually amke food gifts like choc cov. pretzels for my co-workers

DH and I don't buy for each other right now
And my extended family always used to buy gifts for each other, but it looks like we are doing Secret Santa this year so that will be 1 gift instead of 5

i think just 5 or 6 gifts altogether
joint gift for DHs parents
joint gift for my parents
joint gift for my sis and BIL
my grandmom
my best friends son
DH and i usually just get each other one bigger gift, or buy somethnig we both want ( this year it might be a Wii)
I'm lucky because DH is an only child, and my sister doesn't have any kids yet.

This year, 33 people. Some of them get a gift from DH and I as well as something from the kids.
It used to be even bigger, but we started a Secret Santa with one group in my family, so now we only get 2 gifts instead of 12 for that group.
DH also decided not to get for another 11 people in his family. MIL is having issues with her sister so he decided to not get gifts for his aunt and her whole family rather than get in the middle of the mess.

about 24 people not including contribultions to work gifts and gifts for each other (DH and I)
It is so much. The last few years I have been waning to cut gifts out and suggest a Secret Santa type thing with some of my more extended family but I don't want to have to be the one to suggest it.

We have ALOT!!! We have 10 nephews, 1 neice (all under the age of 9!) Then between the siblings and parents, we have about 30 total. We decided last year, just gifts for the kids. Which also include 2 of my sisters who are teenagers.

I probably have about 20 people, but out of those 20, at least 5 are couples where we just buy them one gift for the 2 of them.
