How many ounces for 4 month old?
DS is mostly breast fed but he gets 2 bottles a day. I had been giving him 4oz bottles but today he wanted 6oz.
Is this normal? How many ounces does your 4 month old drink at a time and how many bottles a day?

6 ounces every 3 hours, she still wakes up every 3 hours to eat too

Ds is 3 months - he gets breast fed part of the day but when I'm at work he gets 2 6oz bottles

How many ounces for 4 month old?
Ds is 4 months and gets 3 4 ounce bottles. I am thinking of upping them though. Today he took down a 4 ounce and a 2 ounce in one sitting.

Whatever he wanted. I never worried about ounces. As long as he was gaining I just went with his cues

We just upped DD to 6 oz, she can go anywhere from 2-4 hours between bottles, we are closer to 2 during the day unless we are out and about and she's distracted.
I was giving her 5 and she started to get mad... as soon as she finished the bottle and I took it away, she'd FREAK and make a sound that I can only describe as an alley cat getting stabbed repeatedly... LOL baby girl loves her food!
Is anyone giving cereal yet? My ped brought it up and said we could give at her 4 month appt, but we were planning on waiting until 6... but now she's eating more and more frequently and she is starting to stare at our food... I wonder if she's ready. She is getting Enfamil powder and I pump and have very very low supply (<1 oz per pump!!! Both sides!!!  ).

My twins are taking 5-6 oz. per feeding. They eat about every 3 hours and are both STTN.

If he wanted 6 oz, then that's normal for him. Feed a baby what he wants b/c they only eat what they need.
