How many naps does your 1yo take? At what time(s)?
7m old DS usually takes a late morning nap and then a mid-afternoon nap. Each nap is about 1-2.5 hours long.
I am trying to figure out when to plan DS's 1st birthday party.
Right now his 1st nap ends around 1 and then his 2nd nap BEGINS at 3 or 4. I don't know if I should do his bday part at 1pm or 5pm. Both possible start times are towards the end of his naps but his nap routine may change by the time he is 1.

My kids are fighting their afternoon nap-so right now from 10:30-12:30 or so, then they fight me around 3 maybe sleep for 30 minutes or not at all-they are miserable from 5-6 then we do baths and they are happy, then miserable again while we get their PJ's on, then go to sleep

Acording to daycare it changes.
Usually its 10am ish for an hour or so then again at 2ish for another hour
There are days she wont take her nap until 1 and sleep for two hours 
I must say.. I cant wait until she goes to the next 'room' where nap times are scheduled!

DD was taking 2 naps a day at 1-the first was around 10 AM and lasted 2 hours. The second was around 3 or 4 and lasted 1.5-2 hours.

This was us too. Kaydyn went to 1 nap on her own at about 11 months.

ds takes one nap from 11-12 ish
the second one is 4-530

depends on the day... some days he naps from 10-11 and then 230-330... today is was 12-130 only
when we had his birthday party we made it at 2 and tried to keep him up and skip his am nap... that way we put him down at 12 after lunch and he was up at 145 for his party

Honestly, your DS won't be 1 until March. That is five months away. Every baby is different. You are not going to be able to figure out YOUR child's nap schedule five months from now by what other kids are doing.

I agree with this...every baby is different.....my 11month DD naps once a day from 1-3......but yesterday she didnt nap until 4pm so you can't really plan.....

ITA and the day of the party is going to be somewhat hectic and napping is probably going to be a little bit different than a regular day....

From 2 months-10 months DS napped 20 minutes at 9:30am and another 20 minutes around 1pm.
After 10 months he napped 2 hours from around 1-3.

ITA. DS is 10.5 months old. He usually takes 1 long nap in the morning and a shorter nap in the afternoon when he's with me, but when he's in daycare, he recently dropped down to 1 nap per day.

Depend on when he wakes up...
Anthony is a great sleeper. If he wakes up @ 8 am he goes back for a nap from 11-12:30 then takes a nap from 4:30- 7:30
If he wakes up late (9:30-10) then he skips his morning nap and goes down for an afternoon nap a bit earlier @ 3pm - 6-7.
** Disclaimer - my DH doenst get home from work most nights until 9:30- so his bedtime is usually 10pm

My DD usually takes a morning nap between 8:30-9:00 for about one hour. Then she takes an afternoon nap between 12:30-1:00pm for about an hour.
If I was you I would do the early time. I think between 1pm would be better for most people especially those with children. I know 5pm would be too late for me to take my DC to a party.
