There is 2 of us and I do anywhere from 5-8 per week. Sometimes I am guilty of just letting it pile up...

There are just two of us. We do 2-4 loads a week. I don't mind doing laundry but I really hate ironing!

I probably average just one load a week! It's only two of us and our washer has a huge capacity. I alternate lights/darks/sheets/towels. We have enough clothing (more than enough there!) and linens to not need to wash everything right away.
Edited to say that my husband wears a suit every day so the dry cleaners handle some of our laundry as well.
