Top sheet, comforter, and if I am really cold I will wear a sweatshirt to bed.

I think that blanket is perfect
we use a top sheet, a blanket like the one you posted and then the comforter

We sleep with a top sheet and comforter in the summer.
In the winter I will usually do a top sheet, thin blanket, and comforter. Or if it's a flannel set, then just the top sheet and comforter.
I really like a lot of covers, but I also like the room to be cool. It usually works out because the AC is blasting in the summer, and the window is cracked in the winter for a fresh breeze.
DH at all the layers. lol
