well our first 2 are going to be 13 months apart...so we'll see how that goes, they may end up being it for us! Chat Icon However, if we do have a third down the road, I will go for a fourth. I always said 2 or 4, so the middle has company! Chat Icon

I'm pregnant now with our second child. Assuming all goes well, we may try to have a third but we're undecided about that.

Re: How many children do you want?

This is a tough question for me to answer.

I always thought I wanted 2 or 3. Then I got pregnant with Chat Icon, and I thought I had it pretty rough in the beginning with the exhaustion and the morning sickness. I had no idea what problems were going to lie ahead.

I think I would actually ENJOY pregnancy if it weren't for this ruptured disc in my back and being in constant, glaring, 24/7 pain...

So, my answer is...if I could be guaranteed not to have these back problems during pregnancy again, I would definitely have 2 or 3. This back pain has made me realize that I could handle pregnancy easily, so long as this pain didn't come along with it. Chat Icon

Re: How many children do you want?

We want 3....My pregnancy has been rough so right now I just want to get through this one. We will probably try for at least 2, if that pregnancy is as bad as this one then we will stick with 2.

Re: How many children do you want?

DH and i said that we want at least 3 and possibly 4. i LOVED being pregnant and i can't wait to do it again, but i think i am going to wait a bit before TTC again because i really just want to enjoy DS.

the main reason i can't see having only 2 kids is because i don't want to cheat myself by only being pregnant 2 times!

but i am looking forward to having a big family too Chat Icon

on a side note, i told DH that we will keep trying until we have a girl so we may end up having 6 or 7 kids if necessary Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

We'll see how life goes with the 2 Chat Icon Chat Icon I might be willing to go for one more, but I think I'd wait until James was in school.
