How many bottles/ounces a day?
How many bottles and ounces are your LO's eating? I EBF so I'm not sure how many DD gets? Also, how often are they taking a bottle? Is it ok if she only gets 2-6 oz. bottles between the hours of 6:30am and 5:30pm? I nurse her at 6:30am and soon after I pick her up from daycare. She also eats solids. Thanks!

DS is 4 months and this is his schedule...
8:00am - BF
11:00am - BF or Bottle - 6ish oz
12:00pm - Jar of veggies and Bottle 4ish oz
3:00pm - BF or Bottle - 6ish oz
7:00pm - BF and put to sleep
He will also be BF about 2x in the middle of the night, but it's def not a complete feeding, just a little snack!
ETS: So to answer your question, I don't think only 2 bottles would be enough in a nearly 12 hour time period. She is just about 5 months now, right? I think she might need a bit more, but I'm a FTM so what do I know?! lol

I just wasn't sure. While I'm working I leave 3-6 oz bottles for either the daycare or my mom (depends on what day it is). I told both to give her a bottle every 3 hours. But, lately she's been going about 4 hours in between which would have her only getting 2 bottles. I nurse her at 6:30am, bottle at 10:30 and then again 2:30pm. Then I'll nurse her when we get home from daycare. Sometimes she doesn't even have her first bottle until after 11:00am. She sometimes sleeps through the sheduled bottle times. She's also getting cereal 2 times a days and veggies and now fruit. She also gets up during the night to eat.

we do about 5 or 6 bottles a day of 6 oz of bm and then 2 servings of cereal. We are adding veggies in this week as soon as I can get to the store!

I think 4 hours between feedings is ok. You feed her at 6:30, I would give her a bottle at 10:30, 2:30 and then 6:30.

4.5 months old and her schedule is:
8am - 8oz
10am - cereal
12pm - 7-8oz
4pm - 7-8oz
8pm - 8-8.5oz
