How long is a stomach virus contagious?
We were at BIL and SILs this weekend and their three kids had a stomach virus last weekend. Our other nephew was also there and had the virus on Friday. His mom and dad were both home sick with the virus. While we were there, my other BILs GF got sick (she is pregnant though so I dunno if it was the virus or m/s). Monday night DH started getting sick. He stayed home yesterday and other than a headache feels much better today.
I am guessing he might have caught the virus from either our nephew or my BILs GF if thats what she was sick from... but how long is DH contagious for?

DH came home from work yesterday early with the stomach virus. He is still sick this morning & I made sure I stayed clear of him this morning!

It says it can be contagious up to 3 days after symptoms stop up to 2 weeks!
That is what is says on the internet.
I got it at 1am on Monday morning, was sick all day monday, felt better Tuesday and I am here at work today. I hope I am not contagious!

I heard 3 days. Drink cranberry juice, web md posted an article that there was a study done that showed that cranberry juice may stop stomach viruses...but it wasn't done on humans. Worth a shot

I'm not sure....DS came home with it last Wednes from day care and he still had bouts of diarrhea yesterday. DH, MIL and FIL all got sick wed night thru sat. I got it thurs evening and only had it for one day. The rest of us are OK now.
Just be sure to sanitize everything. Wipe down the toilet bowl, sink, door knobs, and other common surfaces etc....
