How Long Do You Plan To Be Out of Work For?
How long do you plan to take off after have a baby?
I think we get 6 weeks and 8 weeks for c-section... I was thinking of taking the 12 weeks- but DH doesnt think we can afford for me to be out of work for a full 4 months (esp. when only 4-6 weeks will be paid depending on how many sick days I have).

If we are still renting then I could take the 12 weeks, if we buy a house then I have no clue!

If it is a summer baby, that will pretty much eat up maternity, so I plan to take the extra 12 weeks of FMLA. So in total it would be about 5 months or so....

I think I'd take FMLA and take the 12 weeks. I think I have about 30 days of sick time accrued so far.

I am going to be a SAHM. We live OOT so really have no other option about it, which I am really happy about. I plan to go back to work once DC is in school FT. Unless we have another DC.

I have been saving my sick time so right now I have over 4 months saved!! My plan is to be out 6 months, but we will see. We don't have maternity leave, but i would get the 6 week disability leave for a natural birth

12 weeks.  We can't afford for me to be out longer and the fact is that they only have to hold my position for 12 weeks as per FMLA so I can't take the chance that they replace me permanently.
