How long did it take you to get your infant on a schedule???

First of all, I want to say I actually miss you ladies. I feel like I can never get on the computer anymore with DD. And everytime I get on, she cries or wakes up.

DD is almost 7 weeks and I still can't get her on a normal schedule. Does anyone have any tips on how they achieved this??

DD sort of just worked her way into a routine...at 7 wks her last feeding was between 830 & 9 & slowly that got into 8 & now its 730 & then bedtime

She eats every 3-4 hours now & her naps just evolved (feeds at 630 am--down until 930 am) then up, eat 10:30, down at 11:30-1 or so & then just 1/2 hour naps (330 & 6pm)

I didn't do anything she worked into it herself.

PS--Personally I found 5-8 wks the HARDEST time w/ DD, after 8 wks it got progressively easier

by 3 months DS was on a pretty set feeding schedule....but nappping is always sporadic for us

Both kids got themselves into their own routine. DD is 4 months now and pretty much has a consistent napping schedule now and feeding schedule for the most part. I think DS had it more consistent a little earlier.

My DS is 4.5 mos and I am still trying! I think every baby is sooo different b/c i have been taking so much advice and it just doesn't work for us!

For those of you that have a schedule - did you set it up - like feeding at particular time increments, waking up same time everyday etc. OR did you let your DC set it up for you by just repetition....
