How long did it take to conceive?
Sorry for intruding on your board- DH and I are going to TTC soon, I am just curious about the averages regarding how long it takes for people.
If your answer isn't cut and dry, and you care to share an explanation, I would be grateful- I know nothing about thepotential hiccoughs yet.

first time around i got PG my 2nd month ttc. unfortunately that ended in mc and it took me about 8 months to get BFP again!!

Well, we weren't ACTIVELY TTC, but the first and only time we didn't use BC, I got pregnant. I voted 1-3 months.

DH & I took a "it'll happen when it happens" stance. We were "relaxed" in BC methods for 7 years before getting PG. We did not actively chart or anything like that, and I do not ovulate regularly.

We were very fortunate to get pregnant the first time we tried.
ETA: I was never on BC - just thought it only fair to say that.

We weren't trying - I had an IUD in place but got pregnant in April. I had a m/c in June & they removed the IUD. I conceived again in August on the first try.

This pregnancy, it took about just a few minutes. We weren't trying!

We weren't trying, but I do recall the night (in my altered state) that we were a little more careless than usual
So, I would have to say, at my ancient age of 32, it took one try....

One try. Literally. DH was in the FDNY Academy and was exhausted and it was my first month of BCP and we had sex once.

Got PG on the 4th try the first time around. That pregnancy ended in miscarriage. This time, got PG on the first try.
