DD has been off all bottles except for her bedtime bottle for a couple of days. I got her a new straw cup and she has been drinking her milk like a champ.

So last night I decided to change her bedtime bottle for the straw cup since she had been doing so well with it during the day.

Well she flipped out! She screamed like "why are you trying to give me that cup now!" She finally gave in, sat on my lap and drank it, i brushed her teeth, turned light out, and in crib and slept no prob. It actually only took 10 minutes.

Tonight was night 2. All day she was great with the cup. She finished all her milk not once crying or looking for a bottle so I thought tonight would be better. Well she flipped out again. She did finally drink the milk, brushed teeth and in crib no prob. Again no more than 10 minutes.

I know I now have to stick to it and she will get over it.

My concern is that Friday night my mom is babysitting and will be putting her to sleep. I hope she doesn't flip out on her. I know my mom can handle it and will follow what I ask her to do with DD but just hope she is over it by then.

So my question is How long did it take for DC to stop crying for their bedtime bottle?
