How long between AF and retrieval?

I am a little anxious about starting my first IVF, I have the nurse practioner consult on Friday to discuss meds, etc. But now I have info about the lab being closed during the holidays, so I'm trying to find out if I might miss this next cycle.

How many days is it usually between the first day of AF and the day they do the retrieval?

I think I may be on the cusp of missing the next cycle. AF is due around November 30.

Depends on the clinic.
Mine has you on suppressants for up to three weeks, then starts stims which can be anywhere from 8 to 15 days...then figure 2 more days after trigger so a total of 30/40 days from the arrival of AF.
If your clinic does the same, you would probably be on suppressants for a long enough period of time to get you into the next series or they would just skip and wait.
Check with your RE and see what their protocol is.

As I recall it was about 5 weeks from AF to retrieval. I was on BCP for 3 weeks and then stimmed for about 10 days. HTH!
