how long after your cerclage did you spot and have cramps?
I had the cerclage late Wednesday afternoon and had unbearable cramping afterwards which I was told to expect. I still have cramping but it's sooooooo much better than Wednesday night and last night. But my lower back hurts every so often. I also still have some brown spotting. Yesterday I thought it was going away but today I am spotting again. Is this all normal? Tia!

i only spotted for a day. but i remember kofinas saying it was normal to spot.. i would call him though just to make sure!

Thank you! The spotting actually stopped so I didn't call. I also had the procedure really late Wednesday afternoon. A 2:00 surgery turned into 4:00 and by the time they actually started it was even later so DH said that could be why I was still spotting this morning. As long as it stopped I'm happy

Awesome! so glad it stopped!
so how are you feeling? are you able to walk ? get out of bed without being in so much pain?
i must have been the worst patient he had!!
i could not even get out of bed without wanting to cry!!
seriously that cerclage was more painful than my C-section..

seriously that cerclage was more painful than my C-section..
I have to say I am actually feeling pretty good now. Yesterday and Wednesday were the worst. I cried the entire time I was in recovery it hurt so much. I still get the cramping but its tolerable. I can walk but I won't get out of bed without DH's help. I still have contractions on and off but the procardia is helping. They are starting to happen less and less. I see Dr. Kofinas on Thursday morning so I am hoping that we are on the right track now and my cervix is getting better. I am on strict bedrest until then.

So glad it went well and you are feeling good! just so you know I had my procedure on a wed and i had spotting sunday night....I FREAKED out and text Dr. pilliteri. He said it was completely normal to spot. I think it stopped a day or two after that.
Feel better and hope your appointment goes well on thursday. My cerclage is holding strong!
