how long after
taking out an iud does it take to get pregnant... ia m not planing on getting pregnant for a while but I wanted to know if anyone knows the answer

I know it took me 3 months to have a normal cycle. Hope that helps a little.

They say right away. I know someone who was pg within two weeks... For me.. 4 months and counting. I wonder if I needed it all..

Each person is different. I heard your cycle can go back to normal the next month, but I've also heard of it taking up to 18 months for the effects of the IUD to wear off completely.

I think it also depends on whether or not you used the IUD with the hormones or the one without the hormones.
I used the one with out the hormones. Since I got it removed my cycles varied from 26-31 days but they have kind of leveled off recently.
