that looks like a cake I used to make at Haagen Dazs, except I would do pirouette cookies in place of the kit kat bars, and then put belgian chocolate on the tops (the same one we use to make ice cream bars, it hardens when it comes in contact with the cold ice cream)
they were my favorite cakes to make b/c they were EASY to do and they hide a multitude of flaws!!!!!
you could simply ice the top if you wanted to write on it.
ahhh the memories.
