How does TRU price adjustment work?

I saw it on another post & didn't know they did that, but can't find more info on it.

Go to store with receipt. Tell them item bought it now on sale and you want the price adjusted. They will return money to the credit card or give you cash, depending on how you bought it.

I always bring the item with me (in case they are idiots and want you to return and repurchase it). I did this with the train table because I didn't want to risk 2 trips, but they didn't care about where the item was.

Be sure to double check the price before you go!

So mad....I went to buy something else & while there wanted to adj the train & they wouldn't without rebuying online, then return the higher priced. I dropped my 4yo at school & had my 2yo with me, so didn't want to bring it with me, & they see it.
They make stuff so difficult!
