How does baby's movement change in the last weeks?

I keep reading that eventually the baby gets too big to move around... but I also see people on here get concerned when they aren't feeling the baby in late weeks..

At 35w I do notice that her kicks are a little more painful, I'm guessing because she is more up against me with less space.. but then what? what are the next stages of baby movement?

With this pregnancy I have found a lot more movement in the past 2 weeks (27 and now 28) than before.
I would say this little guy is sporatic at best, some days he's pretty active and some days I worry I feel barely anything....very weird!

I'm closing in on 37 weeks.

With that said, I never felt a decrease in movement with either pregnancy. My DD was SO active right up until I gave birth and I expect the same with this baby.

I went to the ob this week because I wasn't feeling her at 35 weeks. The movement has decreased a lot for me but my baby is also measuring large she was almost 6lbs at 34 weeks so I guess she running out room in there and I am also carrying excess amniotic fluid which the dr said can affect what I feel.

I am sure we discussed this, but at 33 wks myself there are times when he is having a rock concert in there and other times I feel nothing.

I don't get myself crazy over it, as long as I feel something without hours going by I really don't stress about it.

yeah, she's the same way...another reason for them to eventually get married

I guess I was wondering more about the future... if I don't feel as much in the next few weeks is it "oh well, she just has less room" or "uh-oh this is cause for concern"

Overall, I think their movement has decreased. But, when they do move, I certainly feel it a lot more than before...sometimes it makes me jump!

Personally, as soon as I hit 36 weeks....the movement was lower, and not as often. I still feel him/her enough in a given hour to not be concerned...but just less overall

For me it's less tossing around and punching and more rolling. I can literally watch the baby's bootie roll from my left to right side. I look and feel for those type of movements--it's definitely different than the 20-30 week movements.
