How do you research a neighborhood?

I did a lot of online research, but I also WENT to the actual school and spoke with people there. We also checked out the school at bell time :) Be careful to make sure you know which school your home is actually zoned for, a block makes a difference.
As far as researching the neighborhood, I would suggest taking a drive around at different times of day, take a peek at the nearest mall, supermarket, nail salon, library, these people will be your new neighbors! Also, the neighborhood does not always reflect the school and vice versa, so check both :) GL I know its a PIA!Chat Icon

Go during the day, night and weekends

There are some neighborhood that look very quiet during the day, but plenty of parties in the weekends/Summer or not enough parking spots in the evening or very busy street during traffic hours.
