how do you know if your baby is allergic to a food?
we have tried applesauce and peaches now for two days. Day 2 and my DS has a red cheek is he allergic?

He might be. You need to stop them both, and then when it clears up start only one for 3 or 4 days, and when he doesn't react to that one then start another one. If you start more than one new food you can't identify what the possible allergen is.

sorry i should clarify. i did applesauce for 3 days with no reaction. he also hgas a slighy cough so i am not sure if it is peaches or the cough

Gotcha. It could be the peaches, or it could be from the cough/cold. When my kids are congested they tend to drool in their sleep and their cheeks sometimes get a little chapped from it.
