Funny you asked that!! DH got a flier in the mail to subscribe for $1 an issue.
I don't care for it. He dosen't see me having pictures of naked men laying around the house!!
I know his brother subscribes to Maxim and a few others like that and he used to look at them.. that didn't bother me.

Ditto. I got him Maxim. But I know those women aren't 'real' and that they are not his type, so I'm okay with it.

He got SO excited when I told him he got a flier to get a new magazine for $1 an issue
He subsribes to like a million car magazines so he figured thats what it was...
I don't know where the playboy thing came from

When I am bored at my MIL's house I read my BIL's maxim.. there are only a few pages of pictures ( not nude) and honestly REALLY good articles!! I can totally understand why a guy would subsribe to it. ( Maxim not playboy)

Well, isn't maxim like a guy version of cosmo.
oh...dh is not getting the subscription...I told him how I felt and that was that..I threw the postcard offer in the GARBAGE!

And Maxine YES I think we are married to twins, really DH has EVERY CAR magazien subscription already, he was so excited thinking a new one came out. .until he saw it was Playboy 
Now trust me.. I would not be THRILLED if DH wanted a Playboy subscription whatsoever.. I guess the reason I wouldn't out and out object to it is that amongst the big scheme of thing, its generally harmless... I figure he can look at those airbrushed, fake boobed chicks but he still goes to sleep with me every night
BUT I am lucky, I don't have this problem because truly my DH could CARE LESS about pics of nekkid chicks..

I don't know, it just never even occured to me to be bothered by it.
I guess I can see why some women aren't comfortable with it. But it's never made me personally feel uncomfortable.
And, I know it's a cliche, but the articles are really good sometimes!!
And sometimes, reading the stories and stuff gets me just as much in the mood as it does DH.
