How do you convince your 14 year old son
That a photo Christmas card is not stupid. I have an appt at Target so he shouldn't feel out of place as if it were KK.

This is around the same time that I wanted to no do that anymore, I remember fighting with my mom at sears.
My brother was four years younger than me, so it did not bother him as much.
I remember not wanting to take Christmas pics anymore around 13 or 14 years old. Sorry, but it comes with the age.

My friend lets her oldest son pick how the picture will be taken, this gives him more confidence and willingness to particpate.

Maybe you have a family pic from a vacation or something during the year that you can use? I remember my friend doing this once her kids were teens. I'm assuming they were also refusing to pose for Christmas portraits.

I really do give him input, and don't make him dress dorky. I know the age gap of 12 years is alot, but I would not feel right about nor would I send out a picture card with just Jenna
Forget the family portrait DH is a major PITA on that

Can you do a collage card? Separate photos of each of them, but put both (or more) photos on the same card? Maybe it will be easier to get him to pose by himself, and if he won't do the "Christmas" theme, just get a close-up of him, and ignore the background and his outfit.
