How do you clean bath toys?
The kind that fills up with water and squirts. I always try to squeeze all the water out of them at the end of bathtime, but no matter what, they always end up with mold inside. Any tips?

I also just squeeze the water out as best I can and leave them to air-dry. I toss them when I feel they are mildewy, which I just did with DD's first bath toys.

How funny! I saw this yesterday too and pinned it.
I would be afraid to use the glue to seal the holes. DD puts everything in her mouth and I can imagine her swallowing the glue. I'm going to try using white vinegar.

i don't have any tips, but i always wondered why they make bath toys with holes in them. the water is going to get in there and they get nasty.
toys like cups and things like that (not the squeaky ducks or things like that) i put in the dishwasher.

once i saw the quirt ones getting gross inside i threw them out and now he only gets stuff without holes, like stacking cups, and hard plastic fish and boats. he got some more quirt toys for his bday and he loved them so i stuck a few in the water table and the rest he plays with dry with his other animals (they were frogs, fish, etc)

I stopped buying any that suck up water.
All others get either tossed in dishwahser (if hard plastic) or rinsed with some bleach water
