how do I get rid of red sauce tint stains in tupperware?

i effing haaaaaaate plastic containers and this is why they gross me out. I usually ONLY use glass but I decided to stop being a princess-y a##hole and get plastic containers like everyone else.

and now I have red sauce tinted in them. I do not have a dishwasher.

Any ideas?

i throw mine out after each use because im too laz to carry them home from work

This is why i switched to Pyrex! I couldn't stand looking at the stains anymore!! I swear, nothing really gets them out.

They used to sell this AMAZING thing that you put in your dishwasher's prewash cup - it came in a tube , and was thick, like toothpaste.

And it got all those stains out.

I feel like they stopped making it though.

It was called Power Booster or something

THere was just one of those Huff Post household hacks things about this

Just making a thick paste of baking soda and water, and use it to scrub the container. The mildly abrasive mixture, plus the almost bleach-like power of the baking soda can remove the stain. Really, what can't baking soda do?

Take the plastic Tupperware over to the nearest garbage receptacle and throw it in.

Those stains never come out. Ever. It drives me bonkers. That's why I switched to glass.

I mostly use pyrex but Rubbermaid premiere is plastic and doesn't stain. The only plastic I'll use anymore.

Take Dawn and put it in the container. Then take a paper towel wet it and but some more dawn on the towel. In a circular motion try scrubbing out the stains.

I've tried scrubbing them but honestly it's more effort than it's worth. Now I just try to put saucy foods in glass containers to avoid the problem.

It's too late on this one, but I read a while ago to use Pam spray on the plastic before you put anything in it with sauce. It works to keep the plastic clean from stains.
