How do I chose an attorney?

I need one to do a power of attorney, to sell a house and buy a house. Do we set up a consultation with a couple of different offices or do we just chose one based on a recommendation.

Thank you. Have a couple of recommendations so I'll stick with those.

Re: How do I chose an attorney?

If you decide you are looking for other options, I'd recommend Kristen Breglio who is based in Garden City and is a vendor on this site.

We are currently working on a home purchase together (for an LIF client), and she has been great! She is very communicative and responsive to questions, and she really took the time to explain everything to my buyer clients and put them at ease. Unfortunately, I run into some attorneys who aren't as accessible to their clients. But Kristen brings both the necessary knowledge and the interpersonal skills to the table, so I will definitely recommend her in the future.
