Most likely Similac or Enfamil. Maybe call your ped?

Do you have any free samples? I would start with what you already have in the house and take it from there. If Alex does well on it, stick with it for the time being.

Not sure if you want to try Soy but I have a 32 oz can left of ready-to-feed Enfamil ProSobee....the last one leftover from when we switched to regular milk!

I have 2 cans of Similac Advance, 2 cans of Enfamil LIPIL, and 1 can of Similac Isomil Advance.
I guess I will try each and see which works best?? Is that what most people do?? I think my ped will say any of th eknown brands are OK to try, since she doesn't have any issues (except hating my breasts! --- Well DH will be glad when he can have them back at least)

I would suggest trying to stick with one formula for at least a week. If she is fine on it, then stick with that. It may take her a few days to get her system used to the formula. Also, don't use Soy unless Alex has a milk allergy.
I have always used Similac Advance and Molly had no problems with it.

I agree. I had used similac advance too. AS a BTDT mom, I would start with the cheapest one you have. If she does fine with it then dont even bother with the other ones. Give it a week....

We started off with Gentlease.
Ped said that or Good start was the closest to breast milk.

I would stick to one formula and see how she does. We use Similac Advance. I don't think you can go wrong with either brand.

Re: SO - how do I chose which formula to use??
Thanks ladies!! I have one bottle of Similac Advance prepared in the fridge just in case. I am going to keep pumping but this evening for example I didn't even get 2 oz after a half hour...so it looks like we will be making the transition sooner rather than later...

I was told the same thing. Also, usually babies are much less gassy with those two.

Re: SO - how do I chose which formula to use??
I've never BF. But the hospitals start them on Similac Advance or Enfamil Lipil (I think they are really the same, but probably stick to one) so I think you can try her on one or the other.
We used Similac Advance and the Target generic of it before my ped switched us to Gentlease.
