In Winthrop, it wasn't an option until you were 4cm.
I delivered at Winthrop and got the epi at 1cm

Were you induced? I think it's different for inductions. When I had DD, they wouldn't admit me until I was 4cm. (I showed up at 3cm and DH and I got to walk the halls for an hour or so).

Nope. No induction, but I did have GD so maybe they admitted me early? Weird.

8 cm
I was dialating so fast that I was told my daughter would be born within the hour and it was "now or never" for the epi.

DD # 1- 4cm (induction)
DS # 1- 4 cm (go to the hospital at 2cms)
DS # 2- 8cm- got to the hospital at 7cm
