Re: How difficult was it to lose the pregnancy weight?
I was overweight pre-pregnancy and only gained 15 lbs with my first pregnancy and 10 lbs with my second. The weight came off incredibly easily for me, since that was pretty much mostly baby weight. After DD was born, I lost 20 lbs within the first month after she's born by breastfeeding alone. Now I'm working on losing the weight that I should have lost before getting pregnant, which hasn't been easy. I'm down almost 40 lbs. My hardest issue right now is actually my breasts. I stopped breastfeeding 5 months ago and I still have the milk. No matter what I do, it won't go away.

Re: How difficult was it to lose the pregnancy weight?
Not so hard, really. In my case, the breastfeeding helped SIGNIFICANTLY. I lost most of the weight by about 3 months post-partum. But, I had to really restrict my calorie intake and up my exercise once I stopped BFing to counteract the effects.
Even though I am technically at my pre-preggo weight, though, everything is distributed differently. My shoulders are a little more broad, so I don't fit into some of the shirts I used to (I think this is from carrying a demanding 26lb little devil for about 4 hours everyday ), my waist is actually smaller, but my hips are definitely larger - I really think the 9 months of pregnancy expands the hip bones somehow, because it didn't happen for me in birth as I had a c-section. And, my thighs are thicker...
So, although you can lose the weight, don't expect to have the same figure as you had before.
