Re: how did you pick

My sis worked at BRU and gave me an idea of some of the best sellers. IMO, this is a great place to ask.

Also, go to BRU (or a store) and take them off the shelf and push them around. It's worth it!

Re: how did you pick

Did some research online and then spent an hour in BRU trying them out and asking an associate for help.

Re: how did you pick

I was obsessed with finding the right stroller for my lifestyle (looking back, it was a ridiculous obsession). Either way, I combed Baby Bargains, polled friends and friends of friends and tried it out in the store.

The car seat was based on what fit in the stroller, but I wanted to make sure it was reputable. It was. I'm happy.

Re: how did you pick

I used Baby Bargains, Consumer Reports...then tried them out in Buy Buy Baby (they have more of an in-store selection).

Re: how did you pick

I did consult with baby bargains, however, I also went to BBB and pushed, collapsed, and lifted a few strollers. I ended up with the Graco based on decent ratings and the fact it was easiest for me to move around. I felt BBB had horrible selection (only one travel system on the floor), but I went on BRU's web site and registered for the travel system in a pattern I could live with on there. My BFF also let me try her Graco stroller out - with her son in it and I got to see just how it felt to push the stroller with a child in it - huge difference.

Same here...plus the lady in BRU helped a lot. For the bigger car seat...i got a Britax...expensive, but supposedly the safest!
