how did you find your kitchen contractor
I dont know anyone and im not sure how to go about finding a contractor that is good and resaonable. I already have measurements taken and a drawing done by consumers. I got one quote and its completely outrageous. I need help finding someone to just do the work. I would like to order the cabs from ikea and such. Should i just pick someone out of the pennysaver?

Do you have any neighbors that could maybe recommend someone they have used or co-workers? I am sure you can just pick someone in the pennsaver that is licensed and Insured, but I always am a firm believer that a recommendation is better.

We were lucky enough to have my brothers install our cabinets.
Where are you located?

I married his son
My FIL designs custom, high end kitchens so he's not cheap.
Unfortunately, his main installer is booked up until summer 08.

I married him He's my hubby, he does side work this time of year...he installed a kitchen for an LIFer recently & he's done stuff for other LIFers too.

We did all the running around with our kitchen, basement, living room and dining room. We used the same contractor as my sister in law to do the instalation, gutting ect......if you would like the name and number of the contractor we used, just let me know. We were very happy with their work.

My brother in law is wonderful ,trustworthy,and very talented .His shop is in Bellmore his name is Rich Arbitelli. and it is called Enchanted Images.You should see what he has done to my sisters house absolutely beautiful....good luck to you!

I've known my kitchen contractor since we were kids. He's excellent!!! I think he mainly does high-end kitchens, but I will FM you his info so you can talk to him directly.
