How can this possibly be??? Sorry...its long.
This may sound a little strange but I honestly have no idea when Im due/conceived. My AF is very irregular. I had bloodwork that showed a few weeks ago that I was 2-3 weeks at the time. I went for a sono and couldnt even see a sac but the doc said that I was very early and he is optomistic because you cant even look at my boobies without them hurting and I cant stop throwing up. I go for another sono and bloodwork on Tuesday.
Here's the strange part: I have lost 5 pounds in the last two weeks b/c of the all day MS but NONE OF MY CLOTHES FIT! I honestly look 5 months preggo.
To top it all off, Josh and I took the baby to Stride Rite for shoes and the lady behind the counter asked me when I was due. I almost fainted! I kind of chuckled and said "not soon enough". She replied with "Well the look on your face and your belly, I thought you were going to tell me yesterday".
I cried my brains out. Its not like she meant to hurt my feelings but I dont understand how this baby doesnt even have arms and legs yet and people can see its there.
Sorry. Just needed to vent.

Most women I've spoken to who were having baby #2 said they showed extremely early. My MD said the same.

Re: How can this possibly be??? Sorry...its long.
It took me three sonos to finally see my baby. I was going every week. First week we saw the sac, second the yolk sac, and finally the baby.
I am now 8 weeks 2 days, and I am wearing maternity pants. If i wear my regular pants, I have to keep them unbuttoned, and unzipped and use the bellaband (which isnt working out to well). I swear, by 6 weeks, my clothes were tight. Now I have been getting some strange pains, and I feel like my stomach is starting to pop.
Sorry for the TMI, but have you gone to the bathroom. With my first, I was soo backed up, that I swear my stomach expanded, and I looked like I had a perfectly round, about 5 month belly. I had to take an enema.
DO you really look like you were due yesterday, or was the lady crazy. I know that I feel bigger than I look. But if you are concerned, def call the dr. Any chance there might be twins??

There is totally a chance for twins which scares the crap out of me. Sorry for the TMI but yes I am very regular in the poopie dept so its not that.
What baffles me even more is that I am a plus sized girlie to begin with so shouldnt I have a lot of extra room before I start showing?

People should know by now not to say things like that -- don't let it hurt your feelings

I don't think that your weight has anything to do with your uterus or reproductive organs. The baby obviously isn't the size that your stomach is "showing" now, but your uterus beat the baby to it, and has expanded because it already knows what's coming.
