How can I organize my closet?

Let me start by saying my LACK OF ORGANIZATION is one of my greatest talents! and my closet is proof of that!

I have ....

Clothes I LOVE

Clothes of for all seasons (I know, I need to filter out the winter/summer stuff..)

Clothes that don't fit

Clothes that don't fit that I would like to wear again (trying to lose 10lbs that I gained while pregnant)


All these clothes don't really have much order. I'll have jeans folded on a shelf with a sweater folded on top of it. It's absolutely ridiculous and I need some kind of system!

I also have shopping bags on the floor of my closet of things I need to return but haven't got around to yet.. or things I'm considering returning... or clothes that I bought but been too lazy to put away.

Yes. I am BAD! Please help me organize my closet!!

Ok..first thing..get those clothes out and returned...sort through the "don't fits" and see what you can feasibly get into, put them in rubbermaid totes and store them in your attic/basement.

Take photos of your closet and stock of what's in there and go on thecontainerstore.com and they will come up with a configuration with you-I think they even call you to talk about it...so easy! I found that I could fenagle (sp?) what I already had to fit their vision..if you need help, ask me! :)
