How can I fix this?

I was wearing this great black shirt while I cleaned the bathroom and now I have bleach stains on it. How can I dye the shirt back to black? Is there a place I can take it?

Any suggestions welcome (besides tossing it in the trash).

Re: How can I fix this?

I had a pair of pants this happened to. I just kept putting black marker on the spot and it would wash out and I'd put it back again. Dumb, right? Chat Icon

I thought of doing the same thing with permanent marker Chat Icon But its in a bunch of places, so I thought maybe there was another solution out there.

I did the same thing to a black tee that I loved and got bleach on.

You can buy some black Rit dye and try that.

You can use RIT dye or marker, which I have been known to do!

You can buy RIT dye in the supermarket.

OMG To Funny! This happened to me 2 nights ago using Soft Scrub with bleach on my kitchen counters. I was somad because I loved my shirt. Thanks for posting and asking the question. I never thought to ask you girls. I was just wearing it to bed now.

I've done that, too. I've used black ballpoint pen. Chat Icon

I did the same thing with a favorite pair of black work pants once. Thank you Sharpie!
