We use Protection One. not sure how much we paid upfront, but we have the keyfob thingy, front and back door alarmed, Ian's window and movement sensor in the hallway. We pay $45 per month.

We use VMS Security. Pay $75 every 3 months. They will install brand new alarm system or replace any old items.

We do Slomins, we pay 28 a month, three alarms, motion detector in the bottom half, and alarms on both kids windows. Also we have the keypad that allows us to lock the house when standing in front, or to hit the panic button!

We use Lowitt Alarms. 1 control panel, 2 keyfobs, glass break sensors on all the windows in the house, 3 doors armed, panic button in my bedroom, several smoke detectors & heat detectors. We pay a little less than $30 a month.

My ILs had the system installed about 20 years ago, and a few years ago we upgraded so it wasn't the foil tape on the windows anymore, so I can't really say what installation would be since all the wiring was already run, we were just having the contacts changed.
