Hospital Gown?
Someone told me to bring a gown for when I deliver. I packed pjs for after delivery. I assumed I would wear the hospital gown they gave me for delivery. Do most people bring something for delivery also?

I wore the hospital gown until I showered. No sense in getting something of yours all messy.

Re: Hospital Gown?
Thanks! That is what I was thinking until a co-worker suggested otherwise.

Re: Hospital Gown?
With DD I wore the hospital gown until I was ready to put my own clothes and pjs on. But this time around I am considering pulling a J-Lo and buying my own gown. Personally I think it would be worth the $15 to have something softer that doesn't smell like a hospital. Even if it gets destroyed-which mine did not with DD-I think it's worth it.

I'm wearing the hospital gown for delivery - things could get very messy and I wouldn't want to ruin any of my clothes!

Ditto! I will slip into my own stuff when I feel comfortable enough to do so and when I think there is less of a chance of making a sloppy mess of them.

Re: Hospital Gown?
i wore the hospital gown the entire time with my first. I am bringing another for the last day (hoping for a better recovery). Honestly, I was just too exhausted and sore to change. I was nursing so it was easier as well, plus you are bleeding so much. Don't want to ruin your stuff as well as the doctor comes to check you so a gown is easier for all when getting checked.
